Berlin: Tranny Olympics at Monster Ronson's Ichiban Karaoke

I have no idea how my friends heard about this event, but all week we've been talking about going to the so called "Tranny Olympics" at a karaoke bar in Berlin. And this is how I ended up chilling with trannies.




I don't know what Monster Ronson's is like at any other time, but on this fateful Saturday night, it was hosting the Tranny Olympics. Those dressed in drag got in for free. There were several Olympic events: eating contest, wet t-shirt contest, lip-syncing contest, and sprinting in heels. So the night begins...

My friend Simon won the eating contest. I don't know how many cupcakes he consumed. My roommate, Nicole, participated in the wet t-shirt contest. The other "guy" competing in the wet t-shirt contest got completely naked. We thought he was a girl, but he was definitely a guy. There was a pole dancer covered in glitter and his hair was blue. Some people may or may not have pole danced with the glittery, blue-haired pole dancer. Some trannies were absolutely terrifying, especially one with out-of-control eyebrows and a half shaved head. Three of my friends got their faces painted with crayon. And I met a nice tranny named Marcel who claimed to be the world champion at Mario Kart. Good night, I would say.
